DWA Press is an imprint of the Dominican Writers Association, created to fill a gap in the literary world. We are building a future where Dominican stories take up space—on bookshelves, in classrooms, and beyond.

DWA Press is currently accepting submissions from writers of Dominican descent in the genres of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and short-form narratives (micro relatos, flash fiction, essays).

We’re looking for bold, authentic voices that reflect the depth and diversity of the Dominican experience—whether rooted on the island, in the diaspora, or in-between.
